Life first appeared on newstands on November 23, 1936. It ran as a weekly magazine until December 31, 1972, then was published twice a year until 1978. In October 1978, it began appearing monthly until the final issue was published on April 20, 2007.
"Life" is a pictorial and written history of the time and gives a complete account of what was happening weekly in the world. The covers are (usually) full-page images of celebrities, sports stars, political figures, etc.
Sports Illustrated has been in continuous publication since the first issue appeared on August 16, 1953.
"Sports Illustrated" covers are almost exclusively sports-related and are perfect for sport-themed gifts, table decorations, or party favors.
Time has appeared continuously on a weekly basis since publication of the first issue on March 3, 1923.
"Time" offers a written review of news & events around the world and the covers depict a wide range of subjects, most famously the annual "Person of the Year" portaits.
We try to acquire & keep only better-quality copies of all our magazines. Our grading of the condition of the magazines is simple. We ask ourselves two questions:
1) Would we want to give this as a gift?
2) Would we want to receive this as a gift?
If the answer to either question is "no," we do our best to eliminate those issues from our inventory.
